Bucklin Trail Hike

The Bucklin Trail is a 3.5 mile hike to Killington Peak.

The first 1.5 miles is an easy hike with wooden bridges and small waterfalls. The second 1.5 miles is a moderate difficult hike, going up a steep trail. Near the top of the trail the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail intersect, and there are several tent platforms and Coopers Cabin

 

Directions:   From Chloe's Market go 5 miles north on Rt. 100. At the "T" intersection make a left onto Rt 4 and go 11.5 miles (you will pass Killington and Pico) .

Make a left onto Wheelerville Road, go 4 miles and the trailhead will be on the left just before the very sharp bend in the road.

From Chloe's Market, go about 4 miles south on Rt. 100 and make a left onto Scout Camp Road. Go 1/4 mile, at "T" intersection make right, go 1.5 mile park entrance is on right.
